Fluke 1663 Multi-Function Installation Tester for Hardworking Professionals

The Fluke 1663 Installation Tester offers the full range of features and advanced measurement capabilities required by professional installers. It is compact and lightweight (less than 1.3 kg), with a padded backpack and belt for easy portability. The tester is intuitive and easy for skilled workers of all levels to master, and can be put to use immediately to carry out tests quickly and efficiently in accordance with all local regulations. Other features include an on/off switching auto-start function for RCD and loop testing and a self-test function that saves you time and gives you confidence in your results.

Testing of electric vehicle charging post RCD A-EV or RDC-DD type DC protection devices

The tester tests electric vehicle charging post DC protection devices using the RCD Type B (Smooth DC Current) VAR mode, which is based on the IEC 62955 standard, and generates test currents (6/60/200 mA and <2 to 6 mA ramps) for either RCD Type A-EV or RDC-DD devices. This makes it quick and easy to test the 6 mA DC monitor attached to the charging post and can be used in conjunction with the Fluke FEV100 or FEV300.

Whether you're testing fixed-wire devices or electrical appliances in the office, verifying repairs in the shop, or performing annual inspections, proper data management is critical to generating easy-to-understand reports for your customers, and TruTest™ software makes it easy to quickly and easily import measurements directly from your test instrument, manage files transferred from your instrument, or manually enter data as needed.
