IT8000 series is a high-power energy-feedback DC electronic load developed based on the third-generation SiC technology, which can simulate a variety of load characteristics and also feed power back to the grid, not only saving power and heat dissipation costs for the user, but also in line with energy saving and environmental protection needs. Adopting modular high power density design, it can provide up to 18kW power absorption in 3U volume, and through master-slave parallel connection and active equalization, the power can be extended to 2MW, which is especially suitable for testing of high-power power supplies, storage batteries, photovoltaic batteries, electric vehicles, and energy storage systems.

Energy recovery efficiency of about 95%

IT8000 series energy feedback DC electronic load is different from the energy consumption type of ordinary electronic load, its main feature is to provide energy recovery function, can be recovered and then directly utilized in the plant, rather than in the form of heat energy consumption. Its conversion efficiency can be about 95%, not only greatly reduce the user's electricity costs, but also to avoid the use of air conditioning or expensive refrigeration system, reduce noise.

High power density

Ordinary energy-consuming electronic loads are not only energy-consuming and power-consuming, but also very large in size and weight. 30kW energy-consuming loads are at least 24U in size, which is not only difficult to carry, but also costly. IT8000 series energy-feedback DC electronic loads are designed with a high power density and can provide up to 18kW of power absorption in a 3U volume. The same output power, the volume is reduced by 80%.

Electricity accumulation, energy saving effect at a glance

 IT8000 series energy-feedback DC electronic load utilizes power electronic conversion technology to recycle and reuse the output energy of the power supply under test under the premise of completing the test power experiment. Through the internal high-speed voltage and current sampling, users can directly view the current power parameters in the instrument panel, including the voltage, frequency and power of each phase. Users can also view the total power, the current total power return and the historical total power return, so the energy-saving effect is clear at a glance. After power failure and reboot, IT8000 series can continue to accumulate power based on the power before the last power off.

List Functions

The List mode of the IT8000 series can accurately complete complex arbitrary current change patterns at high speed and synchronize with internal or external signals to complete multi-quasi-bit band-carrying tests, helping customers to greatly save costs. By editing the step value, pulse width and slope of each step, a variety of complex sequences can be generated, allowing users to complete a variety of bandwidth waveform testing. And in CC mode, the IT8000 series can set the rising and falling edge speed.

Battery test function

 The IT8000 series can be used in constant current mode for battery discharge testing, and the discharge cut-off conditions can be set by yourself: off voltage, off capacity and discharge time. When any one of the three conditions is met, the system automatically interrupts the test. During the test, the battery voltage, discharge time and discharged capacity can be observed, reflecting the reliability of the battery and its remaining life.

Parallel technology

Multiple protection functions

IT8000 series has the function of automatic detection of power grid status, and will shut down the product when the power grid connection is suddenly disconnected, so that it can realize the function of reliable grid connection and island protection.IT8000 series can also monitor the voltage and frequency of the DC input, and has the function of over-voltage protection (OVP), over-current protection (OCP), over-power protection (OPP), and over-temperature protection (OTP).
