Chroma 19305 series for the winding assembly pulse tester, series of models include (Chroma 19305) single-channel and (Chroma 19305-10) 10-channel output test, up to 6kV pulse voltage and 200MHz high-speed sampling rate to improve the discharge detection capability, 10uH inductance or more product testing, with waveform area comparison, waveform area difference comparison, total waveform flutter (Flutter) and waveform second-order micro-fraction (Laplacian) and other determination methods, can effectively detect the coil self-insulation defects. Products with 10uH inductance or more can be tested with waveform area comparison, waveform area difference comparison, waveform flutter total (Flutter) and waveform second-order micro-fraction (Laplacian) and other determination methods, which can effectively detect poor insulation of the coil itself.

The production inspection of wire-wound components includes testing of electrical characteristics and safety regulations, while poor insulation of coils is usually the root cause of interlayer short circuits, jumper short circuits, and short circuits on the legs of the coils in the operating environment. The cause may be due to poor initial design, poor processing or deterioration of insulation materials, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to add the coil interlayer short circuit test.

The so-called "Pulse Testing of Winding Components" basically involves applying a "non-destructive", high-speed, low-energy voltage pulse to the object to be tested, and then analyzing/comparing the equivalent waveforms of the good and defective products under test for the purpose of determining the goodness of the product. The main function of pulse testing is to detect potential defects in the winding assembly at an early stage, such as short circuits between layers, or even partial discharges that are not easy to be detected.

Chroma 19305 series is designed for wirewound component testing needs, using a high-voltage charging of a small capacitor (low test energy) and the coil to be tested to form a parallel resonance of the RLC, by the resonance of the attenuation waveform, through the high-speed and sophisticated sampling and analysis techniques, can be checked out of the coil of the body of the insulation defects and partial discharges, to provide transformers, inductors and other wirewound products for interlayer short-circuit testing, so that manufacturers and users of wirewound components quality verification not only have a reliable test quality, can be more efficient for product quality control. This allows manufacturers and users of wirewound components to have not only reliable test quality, but also more efficient product quality control during quality verification.

Chroma 19305-10 provides multi-channel scanning application (max. 10 channels) for in-line testing needs. 10-channel output from a single machine can achieve multiple scanning tests at one time, saving testing time and labor costs.
