Product Overview: Fluke 1535 and 1537 Insulation Resistance Testers and Megohmmeters
Lightweight and portable packaging ensures fast, accurate and reliable insulation testing
The Fluke 1535 and 1537 2,500 V Insulation Resistance Testers are specifically designed to simplify front-line troubleshooting, whether you're working on the factory floor or in the field at a solar facility. These testers offer user-selectable test voltage ranges from 250 V to 2,500 V and support resistance measurement ranges up to 500 GΩ, allowing you to do more with one tool. With an intuitive user interface, short-circuit currents up to 5 mA, and CAT IV 600 V ratings, these portable high-voltage insulation testers provide fast, stable resistance measurements that are stress-free wherever you take them. In addition, the 1537 Insulation Resistance Testers can store measurements for viewing or transferring to a computer using the included software.
- Optional voltage test:You can customize your tests with user-selectable voltages of 250 V, 500 V, 1000 V and 2500 V for industrial and solar applications.
- A wider range of insulation resistance measurements:Insulation resistance measurement range of up to 500 GΩ for thorough analysis.
- Intelligent Computing:Polarization Index (PI) and Dielectric Absorption Rate (DAR) are automatically calculated to fully minimize the impact of environmental factors on the test.
- High measurement capability:Up to 1,300 measurements (at 2,500 V) or 6,500 measurements (at 250 V) can be made with a single set of batteries, increasing productivity.
- More robust security features:Safe and secure operation thanks to CAT IV 600V rating and built-in voltage alarm.
The Fluke 1537 also has the following features:
- A wider range of measurements:The Fluke 1537 enhances your testing capabilities, allowing you to better measure AC/DC voltage and resistance.
- Stable resistance measurements:Short-circuit currents of up to 5mA enable faster and more stable insulation resistance measurements.
- Fine-tune the test voltage:Adjustable test voltage range of 250 V to 2,500 V in 100 V increments to meet specific test requirements.
- Dielectric discharge rate calculations:Automatically calculates dielectric discharge rate (DD) to help detect elusive insulation problems.
- Slope test mode:Increasing the test voltage at a linear rate of 100 V per second helps to identify potentially imperceptible fault conditions.
- Visual and audio indicators of intermittency:Verify continuity with graphical or audible indicators on the display, so you can focus on the test process without having to keep an eye on the display.
- Customize the test parameters:Set user-defined labels, adjust test duration, and save measurements for a personalized testing experience.
- Easy data management:Data can be easily downloaded and managed by using the computer software provided.
- Extended Warranty:The warranty is extended to 3 years for peace of mind.

| The specified tester accuracy is at 10°C to 30°C operating temperature for one year after calibration. Operating temperatures outside this range (-10°C to +10°C and +30°C to +50°C) require an increase in accuracy of ±0.251 TP3T/°C, but within the 201 TP3T error range, an increase in accuracy of ±11 TP3T/°C is required. | |||
