Automatic pressure generation and controlUp to 300 psi (20 bar, 2 MPa). Enter a pressure and the 729 automatically pumps up to the desired pressure. Fill out a test template and the 729 automatically pumps up and records a multi-point pressure calibration test.

Simple calibration recordUse the defined transmitter and transducer templates. Type the starting and ending test pressures and the number of test points.729 Additional operations can be performed based on the recorded pressure applied to each test point, the measured mA current, and the error %. A bright color graphical display highlights out-of-tolerance test results in red.

Internal automatic pressure fine-tuningHelps compensate for minor leaks in hoses and test fixtures. Eliminates the need to manually turn the vernier to compensate for leaks, helping to avoid the hassle of manually pumping and manually fine-tuning test fixtures.

HART communicationEnables mA output adjustment to the value of the application and pressure zero correction for HART pressure transmitters. You can also easily perform configuration tasks such as changing transmitter labels, units of measure, and ranges. Other supported HART commands include: setting a fixed mA output for troubleshooting, reading device configuration parameters, and reading device diagnostic data.

Measurement of mA signals from transmitters, outputs and analog mA signalsFor testing I/P and other mA loop devices. A 24V loop power supply is included for testing and powering the transmitter during stand-alone testing of an isolated control system.
