One-touch switching, bi-directional power & load return
Unlike ordinary bi-directional power supplies, the IT-M3900B series is a feed-back source-load system that combines two devices in a compact 1U structure. It can be used either as a feed-back bi-directional DC power supply or as a feed-back DC electronic load, truly integrating the power supply and load in a single machine.The IT-M3900B series is designed with function keys on the panel so that users can easily switch between the power supply and the load, which saves the space taken up by the equipment, the cost, and the time spent on connecting the instrument to be measured.
The IT-M3900B series can realize high-speed source and carrier current mode switching when used as a feed-back bi-directional DC power supply, thus providing fast and continuous seamless switching between output and absorption currents, effectively avoiding voltage or current overshoots, and is widely used in testing energy storage devices such as batteries, battery packages, and battery protection boards.
Efficient energy return
IT-M3900B has high efficiency, energy saving and environmentally friendly energy recovery function, which can return power to the grid without pollution, and return nearly 95%. All the return process is automatic and safe, IT-M3900B is equipped with an automatic grid detection system, which detects the phase voltage and frequency for grid synchronization in real time. It not only saves the cost of electricity, HVAC and refrigeration facilities and reduces noise, but also helps to reduce carbon emissions and protect the environment.
Multiple operating modes
The IT-M3900B is equipped with CC/CV/CW/CR basic operation modes in source load mode.
The IT-M3900B also features four composite operation modes, including CC+CR, CV+CR, CV+CC, and CC+CV+CW+CR under load function, which can be adapted to the testing needs of a wide range of occasions.
Battery simulation function
IT-M3900B series, due to its unique bi-directional design and variable output impedance, can quickly define the battery model by setting the voltage, capacity, internal resistance and SOC of the battery through the panel, in order to simulate the charging and discharging characteristics of the battery, and to assist in various other tests. At the same time, the user can also be equipped with ITECH's professional BSS2000 battery simulation software, which allows the user to set the commonly used parameters of the battery pack to quickly establish the battery characteristic curve, and also set the initial capacity of the battery, so as to validate the characteristics of the product in different states of the battery. At the same time, BSS2000 supports users to import the matlab battery model or the actual battery charge/discharge curves through the csv file, which is more realistic.
