Completes AC withstand voltage test with stable output! [Input voltage variation rate ±0.3%].

General withstand voltage testers use a converter transformer to step up the input voltage of an AC line and then output it. With this type of transformer, the output is affected by variations in the input voltage, and the test may not be completed correctly. The TOS9300 series has a built-in high-efficiency PWM amplifier that is not affected by AC line voltage fluctuations and outputs a stable, high voltage, making it possible to securely and stably perform highly reliable safety tests even in areas with high voltage fluctuations.

Response speed of current detection (Filter)

Withstand voltage testers are used to determine whether insulation damage has occurred, so basically instantaneous discharge currents such as partial discharges are not covered. However, in order to meet the need to understand the precursors of insulation damage, the TOS9300 series realizes the setting of 5 levels of response speed (sensitivity). The settings also make it possible to detect small discharges that cannot be detected in conventional voltage withstand tests.

Rise time/fall time control function

Rise time control function

For AC withstand voltage testing, it is equipped with a rise time control function that slowly raises the voltage to the set voltage value. The voltage rise time can be set at 0.1s level within the range of 0.1s to 200.0s.

Down time control function

The test voltage can be made to drop slowly during the PASS judgment of the AC withstand voltage test. The voltage drop time can be set at the 0.1s level within the range of 0s to 200s (can also be turned off).

Support for partial discharge testing (TOS9301PD)

By observing tiny partial discharges, potential defects affecting the internal deterioration and life of the insulator can be detected, which cannot be detected by voltage withstand tests.
