The Fluke 2062 Advanced Wire Finder Kit provides accurate and safe troubleshooting of energized and de-energized wires in residential, commercial and industrial environments up to a CAT IV 600 V rating. This CAT rating is as high a level of protection as a wire finder can provide. This rating protects you from dangerous transient overvoltage levels (up to 8,000 V peak) that can occur in industrial and utility grid environments. This is particularly important in environments such as industrial plants, factories and hospitals where critical equipment cannot be taken offline.<\/p>\n

Four receiver detection modes<\/h3>\n

The 2062-R receiver uses two methods to detect signals in wires and cables: passive detection without a transmitter in non-contact voltage detection mode, and active detection with a transmitter in all other modes. The receiver's tip sensor detects wires in corners, tight spaces, and junction boxes.<\/p>\n

The accessory kit includes test leads, test probes, flat and round socket adapters, and alligator clips to connect the transmitter to the electrical system. Connecting the transmitter to bare wire with the included alligator clips and test leads will always give the most accurate results. However, where direct connection to bare wire is not possible, a raised 6 kHz signal can be sensed through the insulation in \"loop\" mode with the supplied i400 signal clamp. The kit also includes a magnetic lanyard, battery and hard carrying case.<\/p>\n
