Whether you're diagnosing parasitic oscillations, slippage, or harmful distortion, the 820-2 LED Stroboscope is the ideal field troubleshooting, process or product research and development tool.
\nThe LED Stroboscope can also be used as a strobe tachometer to measure speed without the need for a laser tachometer. When using this strobe, the part being measured must be visible and have an identifying mark that can be used as a reference point. A strobe tachometer is a very useful tool because you can't always apply reflective tape by touching the machine shafts to use a laser tachometer, or touch the moving shafts to use a contact tachometer - by using a strobe you can bring the shaft speeds down and \"freeze\" them to 30 RPM (FPM).<\/p>\n
