The PEL-5000G series of single-channel electronic loads offer three rated voltage settings of 150V \/ 600V \/ 1200V, and power ranges from 4kW to 6kW. The PEL-5000G is available in nine models to meet different combinations of power, voltage, and current, and is suitable for server power supply testing and validation, power carrier chargers\/charging stations, and power\/storage battery testing needs. The PEL-5000G offers parallel connection of the same models and supports parallel connection of up to 8 units in Master\/Slave architecture, delivering up to 48kW of power.<\/p>\n

For battery charger test applications, the PEL-5000G provides four battery discharge modes, namely CV+Current Limit mode, CV+Power Limit mode, CC mode and CP mode. Users can select the appropriate test mode according to the test requirements. Under the Battery Discharge Function, you can choose to set the discharge cut-off voltage, discharge time or discharge capacity (Ah) in CC or CP mode to meet the battery test requirements.<\/p>\n

To meet the verification needs of different DUTs, the PEL-5000G offers a variety of test functions, including inrush current test mode, OCP and OPP protection test functions for the object to be tested, and 150 sets of parameter storage.The 1200V model of the PEL-5000G not only provides full power output at 1000V, but also retains 60% at 1200V output. The PEL-5000G 1200V model not only provides full power output at 1000V, but also retains 60% of power bandwidth capacity at 1200V output, which is higher than the 50% specification of other electronic load manufacturers. Additionally high voltage (>600V) batteries or chargers connected directly to the electronic load may cause damage to the electronic load. the PEL-5000G has a built-in slow starter that protects the DC load and also saves the user installation costs and setup time for measurements on the 600V\/1200V model.<\/p>\n

Communication interfaces supported by the PEL-5000G include GPIB, RS232, USB, and LAN.The power, voltage, and current for each model are shown in the table below:<\/p>\n
