RIGOL's innovative SiFi technology generates arbitrary waveforms point-by-point, restores signals without distortion, and has a precisely adjustable sampling rate that reduces the signal jitter generated by traditional DDS signal sources, with jitter as low as 200ps.
Built-in 160 types of arbitrary waveforms
It is well known that RIGOL's waveform generators include many popular customized waveform types that limit waveform creation to truly arbitrary applications. The DG1000Z continues this trend by including over 160 different signal shapes, all accessible from the front panel selection menu.
Sweep Function & Burst Mode
Supports low-to-high frequency or high-to-low frequency scanning outputs with linear, logarithmic, and step scanning types, and can be programmed with a "marker" frequency to meet the needs of more amplitude-frequency testing applications. Burst mode function provides three types of bursts: N-cycle, infinite and gated.
Multiple analog & digital modulations
Modulation types include AM, FM, PM, ASK, FSK, PSK, and PWM, and support for internal and external modulation sources meets the needs of more teaching or communication system testing.
harmonic generator
Built-in 8th harmonic generator function outputs harmonics with specified number, amplitude and phase, which is usually applied in the testing of harmonic detection equipment or harmonic filtering equipment.
Waveform Overlay & Channel Tracking
A waveform of specified frequency and percentage amplitude can be superimposed on the fundamental waveform for output; when the channel tracking function is turned on, all parameters of the two channels can be updated according to the user's configuration at the same time.
Built-in 7-bit frequency meter
Provides 7digits/s frequency meter measurement function, which can measure the frequency, period, duty cycle, positive pulse width and negative pulse width and other parameters of the external input signal, and supports the statistics of the measurement results. Frequency meter measurement can work simultaneously with dual-channel output.
