Multiple types of waveform outputs
The SDG800 supports sine, square, pulse, triangle, and Gaussian white noise waveforms.
- Sine wave - maximum output frequency 30 MHz
- Square wave characteristics - duty cycle up to 20%-80%; rise time less than 24 ns
- Pulse characteristics - minimum pulse width up to 48 ns; rise/fall time up to 20 ns
- Triangle Wave Characteristics - Symmetry 0%-100% Adjustable
- DC signals - 0 to ±10 V outputs


Innovative EasyPulse technology
When the DDS method outputs a square wave/pulse, if the sampling rate is not an integer multiple of the output frequency, it will generate jitter for one sampling period. EasyPulse technology overcomes this shortcoming by producing low jitter square wave and pulse signals with the following advantages:
- Pulse frequency up to 5 MHz
- Rise and fall times are individually programmable up to 20 ns
- Pulse width finely adjustable down to 48 ns
- low jitter

Complex signal generation capability
SDG800 has powerful waveform generation capability, which can accomplish various signal modulation, waveform scanning, burst output and signal synthesis, and supports internal, external and manual trigger sources.
- Supports AM, FM, PM, FSK, ASK, DSB-AM and PWM signal modulation.
- Supports both linear and logarithmic sweeps
- Supports "N-cycle" and "gated" bursts.
