The PEL-3000 series electronic loads feature high speed ramps and high power capacity to meet the needs of SPS (Switching Power Supplies), DC-DC power converters, and HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle) battery testing.
The PEL-3000 series has a single channel with 7 modes of operation, CV (Constant Voltage), CC (Constant Current), CR (Constant Resistance), CP (Constant Power), CC+CV,CR+CV, CP+CV. In the CC and CR modes, it has a Sequence function to simulate various dynamic load characteristics. The Sequence function allows the load curve to be edited by specifying the load current, rise/fall slope, current level, duration and other parameters.
In addition to the digital interfaces of USB and GPIB and RS232C, there is also an external analog control interface, which allows to set the operating parameters and to monitor the voltage and current of the output of the PEL-3000.The PEL-3000 series is available in 5 models, the PEL-3021 (175W),PEL-3041 (350W) and PEL-3111 (1050W), with a min. The input voltage is 1.5 V. The power can be increased by connecting the loaders in parallel, connecting 4 loaders, the power can reach 9.45 KW.
The PEL-3000 series is equipped with protection mechanisms such as OPP, OCP, OTP, UVP and reverse polarity protection, which can significantly improve the reliability of the device. RS 232C, USB, GPIB and GO/NG standard interfaces are provided. For programmable control, LabVIEW drivers and sample code in VB, C, and C++ are available, and the PEL-3000 series provides a fast, efficient solution for product design and production.
