The Chroma 19036 is a wire-wound component safety scanning analyzer that combines with withstand voltage test (AC/DC), insulation resistance measurement (IR), DC resistance measurement (DCR) and impulse test (IWT) in a single machine, with withstand voltage test up to AC 5kV/DC 6kV, insulation resistance measurement up to DC 5kV, four-wire DC resistance measurement range of 2mΩ~2MΩ, and impulse test up to DC 6kV, and with 10 channels to perform scanning test for multiple objects to be tested at one time. And pulse test up to DC 6kV, and has a 10-channel can be performed at a time more than one test object scanning test, with the external channel scanning box can reach up to 40 channels of multi-group scanning test, can save test time and labor costs, and significantly improve production efficiency.
Electrical Flashover Detection (ARC)
The phenomenon of electrical flashover is a transient or non-continuous discharge that occurs when a potential difference or electric field is strong enough to cause the insulating material to lose its original insulating properties, either internally or on the surface. When the energy release of the discharge is sufficient to cause damage to the insulating material of the product, the insulating material will carbonize and lead to the formation of a conductive path, thus short-circuiting the product. If only the leakage current is used as a judgment condition, it is impossible to detect defective products with abnormal discharges, so it is necessary to use the rate of change of voltage or leakage current as a judgment condition in order to effectively detect defective products with abnormal discharges. Therefore, electrical flashover detection is one of the indispensable inspection items for voltage withstand test, and both AC and DC Hi-pot test modes of 19036 are equipped with electrical flashover detection function to detect the rate of change of leakage current.
