Product Overview: Fluke 1630-2/1630-2 FC Ground Loop Resistance Test Clamp Meter
Tests the grounding resistance of equipment located in confined spaces (including indoors or in areas where auxiliary grounding electrodes are not permitted). Stay Connected - Identify ground loop resistance without having to disconnect the grounding electrode from the system and then reconnect it.
The Fluke 1630-2/1630-2 FC Ground Loop Resistance Test Clamp Meter features the usual high quality and durability of Fluke tools. The durable clamp meter jaws ensure accuracy and durability even in industrial environments that run daily.
Unassisted Polar Measurement
The 1630-2/1630-2 FC Clamp Meter uses dual clamp jaws to measure ground loop resistance in multi-grounded systems. This testing technique eliminates the need to perform the dangerous and time-consuming task of disconnecting and connecting ground loops or finding a suitable location to install an auxiliary grounding electrode for testing. You can also perform grounding tests in locations that were previously difficult to maneuver: inside buildings, cable towers, or any location where there is no access to the soil to place an auxiliary grounding electrode.
Fluke Connect ® wireless system
The 1630-2/1630-2 FC supports the Fluke Connect wireless system (not available in all areas.) Fluke Connect connects wirelessly to the clamp meter using an app on your smartphone or tablet. The app displays ground resistance measurements on your smartphone or tablet screen. You can save these measurements, GPS locations from your phone, and images to Fluke Connect Cloud storage and share them with your team.
